Support Andrew's Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Kelly Kasper and Andrew is my 34-year-old nephew. I live in our home state of Michigan. Andrew lives in Port Orange, FL, with his wife and son. He has recently been diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma of the Esophageal Junction with Signet Ring Cell Carcinoma that has spread into at least one lymph node.
Andrew has been unable to eat or hold down food for weeks now and is in the process of getting a port and a feeding tube. His inability to eat and his cancer diagnosis have made it difficult for him to continue to work, and his finances are strapped right now, and he needs our help. He has a beautiful family: his wife, Jacqueline , and one and a half year old son Jordan. They are an amazing little family and could really use the love and support from everyone, friends, family, and even friends they have not yet met.
Jacqueline posted this message on Facebook, and I thought it was perfect and worth sharing:
"When we think of grit, heart, and fight - we think of Dan Campbell and the Detroit Lions. That team gave us something these past few years that meant more than just football - it gave us a reason to believe that comebacks are real, and that underdogs can rise. We would love nothing more than a truly loud and raw Coach Campbell speech to lift my husband's spirits and remind him that he's not in this fight alone. We know the power of words from someone who understands grit, who knows what it means to dig deep when the odds are stacked against you.
So here's what we're asking: Blow up his DM's. Tag him. Comment on Lions posts. Write letters. Send emails. Post, repost, share. Let's make enough noise that he can't miss us. If you know anyone with connections - use them. If you have a voice - use it. Let's show the world what love, loyalty, and community look like. Let's get this message to Dan Campbell. Because we are in a fight for our lives - and we are fighting with grit. "
His family would like to add: let's all come together and show Andrew, Jacque, and Jordan that no matter what life is about to throw at them, they have a strong team of dedicated, concerned, loving, supportive, and prayerful people behind them - to boost them up and help them in any way we can - execute the plays.
Every donation will help this family stay afloat. There is no such thing as a small donation - an act of kindness is an act of love. Words of support and encouragement are uplifting and appreciated. Prayers are meaningful and appreciated.
Andrew, Jacqueline , and Jordan appreciate your consideration and generosity. His extended family cannot thank you enough. Let's continue to lift Andrew up in love.
