Help Riot get the care she needs to recover from a spinal injury!

Many of you know Riot as the crazy little aussie that accompanies me on all my adventures. Whether that be adventuring new trails, paddle boarding in alpine lakes, summiting mountains, or even just a drive in the backwoods. She is always up for any kind of adventure, especially coming to work to play with all the puppies and her friends at daycare!

Riot is a 4 year old Australian Shepherd, and the best buddy around! Sadly though a few months ago Riot crashed on one of our hikes very hard, and i thought she was going to bounce back, but after some rest i could tell something was not right at all. We went to the vet where she was put on rest and pain medication for a suspected back injury. After weeks of rest and some laser treatment we still did not see any real improvement, so back to the vet we went.

There we got some x-rays done, and when the results came in we had them sent to a specialist to see what they thought. They could see lots of trauma within her vertebrae and that something was definitely wrong. With that they wanted to move forward with an MRI and then CT scan. This requires travelling to Canada West Veterinary Specialist, in Vancouver, along with having her be seen by a neurologist specialist.

All this being said I am unable to do this all by myself, and it’s gotten to the point where i need to ask for everybody's help. Even if you cannot donate a share would mean the world to us.

I really want to help her get the care she needs, and I don't wanna give up on her. She is so young and strong. I know she can get through this. I just need to help her there, and I can’t do it alone. All the funds donated will be used to help us get there and be used for her medications, procedures, etc!
