On August 1st, 2025 Toalua "Charlie" Aumua was taken from his family, friends, the community and the Temple Police Department in a tragic boating accident.

Charlie is well-loved and adored by his family and members of the department. This GoFundme is the simplist way for people to donate to support the Aumua family in this time of sadness and need. By creating this fund, we can all donate to one place and ensure that the funds reach the Aumua family.

This is not the first time a GoFundMe page has been created, but I hope it will be the last. It wasn't long ago that another fallen hero, Christopher Gallup, was taken, and the department was able to raise several thousand dollars to support whatever unexpected costs the family had.
