As y'all know, we have been having it rough. My daughter has had some unexpected pretty serious health issues. So far, she's had two brain surgeries, two sinus surgeries, lived with no skull, and so many seizures and appointments I lost count. Here I am again to spread awareness of children and adults: those repeat headaches mean something. Please make the doctors run an MRI and figure it out. Also, all of this happened because of a sinus infection. We went to the doctor and we went to emergency rooms, but because this rarely happens, no MRI was run and nothing showed on the CT. It wasn't until she couldn't speak and was paralyzed on the right that we were sent to Children's Hospital where we got answers and emergency surgeries.

As of now, I haven't been able to work or move around since the end of November. I am behind, and I've been trying to get assistance and scrape by. I applied for a check; they told me 9 to 12 months for a decision. I was approved for the NET program with Medicaid but have yet to get the card. I've left so many voicemails and been sent to so many different people on this issue. As of now, I'm just trying to wing it... We are always having to run back and forth to Birmingham for appointments or her being transported and admitted.

I have 9k followers and 5k Facebook friends... I'm asking for y'all's help before I lose our home and everything else that follows. Feel free to share our story even in your own words. Maybe that will help; if not, at least people will see it and might save another life. As we try to recover from everything, her only issue now is infection and her skull deteriorating.
