Funeral Costs For Justin Carmona

My brother, Justin Carmona, was finishing up the first semester of his final year of school at SUNY Oswego. On his way to take a final the afternoon of December 11th, he fainted and was taken to the hospital where they initially diagnosed him with a pneumonia and later, doctors discovered  he had pulmonary embolisms in each lung. He passed away in the hopsital early morning December 12th.

Justin was an amazing, kindhearted individual - the best son, brother, and friend you could ask for. He loved video games, toy model building, and was a regular at poetry open mics when he wasn't studying and working late nights at his school to make extra money. 

We are completely shocked to have lost him so suddenly and are now faced with the ridiculous debt of funeral costs. We are asking for any help we can get in handling this debt, providing Justin with a place to rest in peace, and a making sure we can remember Justin properly and all the joy he brought to our lives. 

The cost of the grave alone is $4,550. Funeral services cost an additional $3,515. 

The Wake will be Thursday, December 20th and he will be buried Friday, December 21st. We will have more details soon.
