I am Coach Dominique Rodrigue and I founded NJ New Life Basketball in 2015.

I have always found a safe haven through basketball, and living in Paterson, NJ I see the everyday obstacles young kids experience. Therefore, I want to provide positive opportunities for these kids. I inspire them through basketball and the etiquette that comes with playing the game. I strive to instill players with respect, dedication, perseverance, and love for the sport and those around them. Through basketball the kids are able to travel to new places, meet new people, and learn responsibility at a young age. Every year we organize a college/university trips for the boys to see a college campus up close and also watch a game there. I want the kids to know that college is a possibility available to all of them, and that basketball can help get them there. 

Our kids work hard both on and off the courts. When the kids aren’t playing ball, they are fundraising for uniforms and tournaments. We have a lot of tournaments and activities planned for this year! We have set up local fundraisers, but we are also creating this page to have a broader reach. Since our organization relies on the generosity of individuals like you, we ask you to make a donation to our team.

With this money, our players will be provided traveling expenses and entry fees into tournaments.
