On September 5th, Ariel was told that a lump found on her thyroid needed to be partially removed to be biopsied after the initial biopsy failed to provide results. After 10 anxiety-filled days of awaiting results of her second biopsy, her doctors informed her that she had cancer. Ariel is now awaiting her 2nd surgery to remove the rest of her thyroid, and is expected to go through radiation starting thereafter. She and her sweet family are requiring urgent assistance in paying for medical bills, which are exceeding their expectations.
