On December 18th, 2025, Tyler was simply driving to work like he did 5 to 6 days a week. Tyler left the house at 7am each day. That way in case he met a traffic slow down, or unplanned traffic delays, he would be able to arrie at work by 8 am without issue. Tyler buckled in and headed to work planning on doing his normal day and then heading home to assist his mom and brother in the upkeep of their ferret rescue. Unfortunately he was met with a worse case scenario. He was struck head on by another driver who veered into his lane. Less than a mile from his home, his mother and brother, whom is also fighting cancer, was notified by a family friend who happened to be following Tyler when the accident happened. It appears from the photos that the airbags did not deploy in any part of the SUV.

Not knowing the actual condition of her son, Pam asked her son Ethan to please drive up and check on the accident. Pam was suffering from severe vertigo at the time and was unable to go to the site herself. In rural DeKalb county, there are only a few options for fast transport. Medflight was already tied up. So Tyler was cut out of his truck and then transported via ambulance to Huntsville Hospital, approx an hour away. The ambulance crew made a decision that his wounds were so bad, it was best for his survival to take the chance and run him an hour away.

Once Tyler arrived at Huntsville Hospital, they began the arduous task of finding out how badly this young man's body had been damaged. Visible lacerations, breaks, and avulsions to Tylers hands were apparent. Multiple fractures were visible from head to toe. The trauma surgeon nor the medics expected him to make it to the hospital. The trauma surgeon was waiting for the ambulance to arrive and stayed with Tyler more than 8.5 hours after arrival. This surgery was to stop the internal bleeding and assess how badly damaged his internal organs were.

Multiple bone breaks, multiple internal injuries, and mental damage that can't be measured.

Now only a few weeks later and more surgeries later, Tyler has started the long road to recovery. This is where you can come in and help a family that is already stretched to the limit. Tyler has NO insurance, NO income, and his bills are coming and piling up. We have no idea how many more surgeries Tyler will have to have. It could be a week or more before he can even start painful rehab. Until then, bills keep coming, power bills gotta be paid, and Pam could use a little help with gas money driving an hour 1 way to see her son. Your little bit of money.... yes $5 will actually help. Your small donations will help Tyler heal because he won't have to worry about his mom or brother keeping the power on and making the long drive to Huntsville. Pam is trying to find an inpatient rehab that works on charity care. UAB's Span Rehabilitation is one, but that becomes an almost 2 hour drive 1 way!

So if you can't donate, you can share, like and share, on ALL MEDIA PLATFORMS! Tyler, Pam, and Ethan need your love and support.
