CRFM Main Cabin Rebuild
Thank you, donors, for over $70,000 received outside of GoFundMe! And CRFM just received an additional insurance settlement. We now have sufficient funds to complete the proposed restoration of Hidden Hill Friends Center facilities lost to the fire in January 2018.
July 2021 update: Friends are finalizing design and construction decisions for installation of the HRV, and the bathroom, laundry and septic system, and related plumbing details, to be completed before winter. Friends are also making progress on completing other interior details.
Meeting for Worship has resumed at the HHFC Meeting House, including hybrid Zoom technology. Search “Chena Ridge Friends Meeting” for further information.
December 2020 update: It is winter now, and construction is suspended until spring. The new main building is in good shape for winter! Windows, doors, first floor flooring, heaters, and lighting are all installed. Interior paint is completed. Insurance settlements and donations from the past two years, and borrowed Meeting funds, have paid for the construction accomplished this summer. Work pending includes second floor flooring, HRV, bathroom, laundry, septic, and exterior siding.
We look forward to a fully restored central building, for residents of HHFC and for CRFM activities.
