Hi, my name is Niya, and I’m 25 years old. After years of searching, I’ve finally found a career that excites me and gives me hope — becoming a nail technician.
Nail art isn’t just a hobby for me; it’s a true passion. I’ve always loved art, and doing nails is a creative outlet that allows me to help women feel beautiful and confident. Seeing someone smile because of the work I’ve done makes my heart full.
But I need your help to make this dream a reality. I’m hoping to start nail tech school this April, and I’m humbly asking for donations to help cover the costs of tuition and supplies.
This career isn’t just about art for me — it’s also a way to find work that accommodates my physical challenges. I was born with clubfoot, and standing for long hours causes me extreme pain. Right now, working 8-hour shifts leaves me limping home, dealing with severe pain from plantar fasciitis, which developed due to my clubfoot. By becoming a nail technician, I can do something I love while also working in an environment that’s manageable for my body.
Any amount, big or small, will bring me one step closer to a career where I can thrive and make others feel good about themselves. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean the world to me.
Thank you all so much for your love, support, and kindness.
— Niya
