Nixi’s cancer journey:

Mom has been fighting cancer for about 6 years. Last year a surgery at stage 1, and a year later it has spread and it is at stage 4. On July 30, 2020 she was diagnosed with non-small cell stage IV lung cancer ademocarcinoma, as the cancer metasticized to her left lung with several tumors on the right lung.

According to her surgeon, there are no treatments available that are appropriate for her condition. At this point any surgery, chemotherapy or radiation is not feasible treatment right now. Her type of cancer is incurable and will only get worse, and fast. There is not much else for stage 4 cancer, and we do not want her to lose hope, so we did some research.

Herbertrans is a autoimmune therapy, a vaccine, and one of the only choices left to protect Mom at stage 4. Herbertrans has the potential to SIGNIFICANTLY SLOW the development of her cancer. In effect, the vaccine will assist in boosting Mom’s immune system and open the possibility for her to win her fight against cancer.

This vaccine helps the immune system and improves overall survival and quality of life. Her treatment is crucial as it will help slow down the growth of her cancer cells and extend her lifetime with us.

These alternative treatments incur costs out of pocket. Funds will be allocated between treatment and travel as lodging will be provided by family and friends.

About my mom:

Despite being diagnosed with non-small cell stage IV lung cancer ademocarcinoma, my mom continues to be the strongest person I know. She is an amazing mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She spends summers with my family and has been a wonder with my son’s food jags. At one point all he seemed to want was bread and chicken, and somehow Mom got my son to eat beans and rice (with onion, garlic, and bell pepper hidden in the sauce ).

She is so passionate about helping others.She has opened her home to whomever is in need. I know that many of the folks who will respond to this GoFundMe will have more to add. There are literally not enough words to describe what my mom means to my family and I. She is the core of our family and has filled our life with nothing but endless love, support, laughs, and strength.
