We would like to bring to your awareness that we have been granted an opportunity by Gap Medics to spend one week in Warsaw, Poland, which requires us to raise our own finances, working towards an international medical project for aspiring medicine students, that encompasses community health care services.
We will be placed in various hospitals and clinics working within different departments in order to gain a deep insight into the field of medicine, with valuable knowledge and real time experience dealing with different cultural backgrounds and people from a range of age groups.
As motivated, aspiring medical students we believe that this could be a life changing opportunity to prove our determination and passion towards our chosen potential careers. We aim to raise money for this cause which will go towards our project costs and donations to other charitable organisations we intend to work with.
The departments we will be observing in consists of Paediatric surgery & organ transplantation including neonatology, oncology, and gynaecology. Warsaw offers an insight of the eye-opening unique surgeries that will be performed before embarking upon future medical training as it is one of the most specialised paediatric surgery centres in Europe, and the only department in Poland where organ transplants in children are performed.
We hope to raise £4000 through go fund to cover the whole cost of the trip for the both of us, this money will go towards funding for our living costs, our facilitating mentors and the involved clinical organisations. As this project requires us to raise our finances to fund for our trips.
We kindly request you to donate towards this cause and help us build our dreams. Every donation small to big could help us go far and would be much appreciated.
