Nitro High School InvenTeam make it to EurekaFest!

Our InvenTeam is dedicated to addressing one of the most critical challenges faced by electrical linemen—ensuring their safety while performing dangerous and essential work. Linemen are at the forefront of maintaining and repairing the power grid, often working in hazardous conditions that expose them to risks such as electrical shocks, falls, and extreme weather. Recognizing the importance of their role and the dangers they face, our team has taken on the mission to design a solution that improves their safety and empowers them to work more effectively.

Through collaboration, research, and creative problem-solving, we aim to develop an innovative product that mitigates these risks while maintaining usability and efficiency. By integrating cutting-edge technology and thoughtful design, our solution will prioritize the well-being of linemen and contribute to a safe and more resilient workforce. Together, we are excited to make a meaningful impact on an industry that keeps our communities connected and powered. However, in order to attend the EurekaFest, our team will need additional funding to make it there. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated!
