Many of you know my history with an amazing service dog named Trix-C. She was not only my first service dog: She was my beating heart! We lived and worked in sync. When she retired, Gatsby (a Schnauzer) became my service dog. I love him so much, and he has also served me well. But, now its time for my Gatsby to retire.

 Trix-C was a Belgian Malinois breed known world-wide for bonding with human handlers. I never imagined I would own another Malinois, because they are usually trained for other fields. Besides, most service dogs cost anywhere between $20,000 and $40,000!

 Fortunately, I have an opportunity to obtain a Belgian Malinois whose previous companion passed away. I have been able to observe him in action on Instagram and videos with his former owner. He is now residing with a trainer who wants to re-home him with someone who needs his specialized training. Because of the unusual circumstances, I will be able to purchase an experienced service dog for only $3000!

 I would so appreciate if you could be part of this adventure. In addition to the cost of the dog, I would need some additional supplies to get started, so I am setting a goal of $3500.
