We are proud to carry Maus at Nirvana Comics Knoxville!
Art Spiegelman's masterpiece is one of the most important, impactful and influential graphic novels of all time. We believe it is a must read for everyone.
All funds will be used to purchase Maus for students local and across the US!

***We're setting aside 10% of the funds to satisfy any tax liabilities. Anything leftover will be used to donate other books to school libraries***
With McMinn County being just less than an hour away, we want to support those students and students across the US by offering a free copy of Maus (parent guide included). We are proud to carry Maus at Nirvana Comics and we want to support this award winning book! We support childhood education and graphic novels can be a great educational tool!
The funds received are going towards purchasing copies of Maus and getting them in the hands of students locally and across the US. We’re setting aside 10% of the funds to satisfy any tax liabilities. Anything leftover will be used to donate to local nonprofits to reach students across Knoxville and Tennessee involving graphic novel libraries.
Nirvana Comics will hold funds until invoices are due (Diamond and Penguin Random House), labor (employee hours dedicated to Maus Project), supplies (shipping supplies-uline/printing costs for the parent guide and thank you insert), shipping (USPS/USPS International charges), and local nonprofits are confirmed (to be determined). Documentation can be provided upon request.
