Hello! If you've made it to this page, you must already have an idea of who I am, but let me introduce my best friend. Her name is Nique, and she is the reason for me making this. Nique is awaiting Gender Reaffirming Surgery from the dates of March/April of 2019.
We are both traveling to Thailand for this surgery, where she will undergo a procedure that is going to leave her essentially bed-ridden and unable to walk for the most part of an entire month, perhaps longer. The surgery itself is going to cost upwards of about $18,000. Add flights, accommodation, food and other essentials, that's easily $20,000+. My goal for this gofundme is to raise as much as I possibly can for her, even to just cover the costs of her flights so that's one less thing she has to worry about.
If you know me, or you know Nique then please consider donating. I will be eternally grateful, and I know she will be too. This is more than just a donation for her, I want her to realize through this that her friends are willing to help her through this and that we are here to support her through such a life changing event.
