WE ARE STARTING A NEW STEINER SCHOOL!!

Dear Community,

A group of passionate board members and volunteers have been working heroically hard in the creation of Nipakawa Steiner School located in Carlton, Lutruwita / Tasmania over the past two years. This huge task is progressing well with registration and enrolments all set for a 2026 start!

Our school site is well suited but requires some upgrades to get it ready for school start. Starting a school from nothing is a huge task, and requires many things but also financial investment. Whilst we have secured some funds we want to ensure that our school starts with its best foot forward so we are reaching out to the broader community to ask for assistance.

Our building and playground start up costs are due to exceed $50,000 for consultancy fees and reports, playground upgrades and compliance upgrades and small refurbishments. We don’t have any big corporate funding, this is a community, grass-roots initiative for an independent school powered by volunteers!!

We are seeking donations to ensure the best start for the school at this most critical time. If you are able to support this important project, please donate today! Every donation helps at this important time!! Every $100 we receive helps buy materials our dedicated volunteers can use towards our goals!

With many thanks,

Nipakawa Steiner School Community
