Hello! I'm Nin, a black trans person from Italy.

There is one part of my body that has always created a lot of problems for me: my chest.

That's the one part of me that gives me A LOT of gender dysphoria. It stops me from doing all sorts of things (eg. sports - trying to do any running/moving faster than a regular walk makes me want to throw up... I hate being reminded that I have breasts and any such movement does just that), as well as making it impossible for me to explore the possibility of a physical relationship with anyone. The idea of anyone touching or even just looking at my chest makes my skin crawl. Considering how prominent my chest currently is, everyone stares at it and it's pretty much impossible to hide. Trust me, I've tried binders. They do not work.

I need it gone if I am to move forward with my life feeling truly free to do anything I want, free to be myself and to be viewed by others as intended: a nonbinary trans person with a flat, masculine chest, which is how I view myself in my mind.

After years of fighting with my country's very binary approach to transition to finally be able to get access to top surgery as a nonbinary person, I now have a date: July 9 2025. That will be the day in which I will finally, finally be able to get top surgery like I've always wanted!

The only thing I need now is the money to make it happen!

I am paid pretty much the lowest wage possible for someone who does the job I do, so it's highly unlikely I'll be able to save up 10.000 € before July.

I've never been someone who is comfortable asking for help, but at this point I have no other choice.
