Nino McPherson

Hello.

This memorial page commemorates the life of Nino McPherson.

I am Mack R. Price, a recent addition to the Nino's family. I have been a close friend of Nino's for a long while. We met in 2020 and have worked on many shows together including All American, S.W.A.T., and American Horror Story. The pandemic turned film crew members into "essential workers” causing us to rely on each other for support. Working around hundreds, we were separated from our families unsure if we would bring Covid home. Crews continue to lean on one-another during this precarious time for humanity.

Nino was not new to the industry, having danced for Debbie Allen for some time and Assistant Directed many music videos and commercials. Nino was no novice to the hard work that goes into creating, organizing, and facilitating film production. So, it was no wonder 1st AD Michele Labrucherie saw a talent in him that she knew would be a great fit. She brought Nino into the fold and hired him on her PA staff for Snowfall Season 5.

Nino excelled at being creative and led his life through his creative vision. All he wanted was to continue to make great creative strides. Nino was a terrific support on set as well as being a support system to his family. He worked hard to support himself and his mother, Ms. Tanoa Ledbetter, in her retirement.

Nino was a old soul at only 31 years old. He had his whole life ahead of him. Nino lived with his mother while she supported her baby boy's goal to complete his PA days and join the DGA. We must show our love and support for him and his family. As a community, we should do whatever we can to alleviate the burden put upon Nino's mother.
