Minka’s leg amputation

Minka (Polish for strong-willed warrior) was spotted weeks ago in Norwood with a leg-hold trap attached to her front leg. Efforts were immediately made to trap Minka, but she evaded traps for weeks. Finally on the evening of December 19th, Lost Pet Recovery aided in the trapping of Minka. She was transported to Jaax Veterinary Hospital and underwent an amputation the morning of December 20th, as the leg was too far deteriorated to save once the trap was removed.

Minka is a community cat. The bill for her amputation is $1000. Any help to cover the bill for this kitty is very much appreciated!
