Ning And Araya Belong In Canada!
Donation protected
Greetings beautiful people,
One of the principles with which my family, and colleagues, live by is to help those who cross our paths. Araya and her mother, Ning, have been a part of our lives for several years now because Araya has been a student at Topcliff P.S. (where I have taught for the past 30 years). After tremendous hardship and abuse in Thailand, and extremely unfortunate circumstances here in Canada, Ning, a devoted mother and exemplary citizen, received a removal date of Sept. 11, 2024 from immigration authorities. Her daughter, Araya, was born here. We have been working diligently since the end of June to have that date deferred. Thanks to generous donations of time and money from friends, colleagues, family, and outstanding lawyers, we were successful! We now have to fight for her permanent residency and as you know lawyers cost money. I implore you to consider giving what you can. Araya is Canadian, a bright and loving child, she has the potential to be an olympic volleyball player (at age 10, coaches can see that already!) but most importantly she and her mother deserve to be together…. here. Please help and/or share with others who might be willing.
By helping one we can effect change in the world.
With much gratitude,
Ning, Araya, Ms. Egan, and all of Araya’s teachers and coaches.
