Nine Years Without a Smile: Jack Needs You
Donation protected
My name is Jack Touchet. Nine years ago, I was told by a dentist that my options were to have all of my upper teeth pulled and replaced by implants, or to have 13 root canals. I chose the former, not knowing how broke I was until I had to start making payments. This was my fault.
It’s now been nine years. Even with my insurance, it will cost 4000 dollars to get a bone graft to my sinuses from the degradation of the bone, with about a two-week healing period. Followed by another 4000 dollars and a two-week healing period for the implants themselves.
To be honest, I don’t expect anyone to donate. I’ve had my head treading water for years and truly just miss eating food like a normal person or being able to smile. If you can help, truly anything is appreciated. If you can’t, I understand. I just need help and a part of me truly believes I will always have but half a smile, and I’ll be happy with it. But if you can help me fix this, I cannot wait both to show you a true smile and also to be able to eat peanuts and chips again. Thank you, whatever you choose, for just reading this message.
