Synopsis - Clyde, a passionate artist who is being held back by his 9-5 job, finally reaches his breaking point. With the help of a Shaman, he runs away to freedom and manifests his own tribe along the way soon to find their purpose.

Topics: Breaking free from societies box, escaping political and religious views/pressures to explore oneself, eliminating the toxic use of electronics for the grace of human interaction and real community.

With this film we plan to enter it into many film festivals across the globe in hopes of winning, inspiring a change, and getting our names heard in the directing film world. Making a dent out here is incredibly hard as its highly highly competitive. With the approach of making a beautiful short film I believe I can make my mark to eventually move to bigger and better projects.

So what are we trying to accomplish with this film?

Due to the system that we have been raised in, so many talented, skilled, and intelligent people are getting stuck in societies box of 9-5 jobs, being held back by multi-generational religious/cultural pressures, and getting stuck in toxic technology habits causing stress, depression, and leading to an unsatisfied life. Stop wasting your god given talents! In this short film we aim to inspire those being troubled by these conflicts. This film is to send a message to the hearts of those wanting to make a change in their life and set themselves free, but haven’t gotten the courage yet to do so. It often starts with one brave move removing the cuffs and setting yourself down a path of purpose, happiness, and freedom. A path that feels most fit for you, not what society tries to tell you is right for you. 

I hate asking for hand outs, but it is very hard to cover and finance a film independently, meanwhile supporting yourself in LA as an artist. The film will cost an estimated amount of $8K+, but I am looking to raise $4K as I already have half saved up to put towards this film.
