Miss Gay USofA 2017
Donation protected
I am excited to be returning to Miss Gay USofA after a few years away. As you know , I qualified for this years competition in December, when I traveled to Dallas, TX and captured the title of Miss Gay Fire & Ice 2017. I'm elated to work with my new Promoters...Dragon Lady and David Armijo. They have already been extremely instrumental in my preparations for Nationals, which will be held in Dallas, Tx....May 23-26.

As most of you know, I have consistantly placed in the Top 5 at Miss Gay USofA...and this year I'm pushing even harder to make that dream finally come true...to become Miss Gay USofA..
The costs with doing a competition are great...physically, emotionally, and financially. I'm fortunate enough to be a part of a community that has supported me continuosly on my journey and I know this time will be no different...
I am on task to have most of the tangible components paid for (gowns, costumes, jewelery, props etc)..but as always... it's the "other" costs that seem to be most difficult to cover. Things such as :
-airfare, hotel, and salary for dancers (10)
-prop transportation
-dancer passes for the week of competition ($75/each)
Obviously any help is forever appreciated...
Having said all that, in prepering to launch this campaign, I wanted to find a way to give it a dual purpose. To call attention to someone or something bigger than myself...
As most of you know I am employed by an amazing club in Minneapolis, The Saloon. They have been beyond supportive to me, personally and professionally since day one, and continue to be to this day. The consistant support that they give, not only to their employees, but to the community at large, never ceases to amaze me. Here is another example of just that....
.....Upon me reaching my goal for this campaign, The Saloon has agreed to donate $1,000 to the Minnesota Transgender Health Coalition...We chose them becasue our Trans Sisters and Brothers need our love and support now more than ever (I won't get political)....So I want to thank the Saloon for their generous offer, and am happy to know that I can launch this campaign with such a great added bonus.
In addition, I was approached by another party ( who wants to remain anonymous) who would like to add $500 to the Saloon's contribution...
So when all is said and done, if I reach my goal, we will be donationg $1500 to the MN Transgender Health Coalition. To find out more about this organization, visit
