I am Nim Hanson (Alvarado), a hard working mother of two beautiful children, Victoria and Mateo, and unfortunately I got very sick. This has left me unable to work and in need of financial help. After many months of illness I was hospitalized two months ago and diagnosed with very serious liver and kidney disease. This disease is likely to end my life without the right treatment. Unfortunately, this has already taken an extremely large toll on me and my family emotionally financially. I have been left virtually bed ridden and hospitalized for the past two months.  I am not ready to die, I want nothing more than the chance to live and raise my children.  I am very fortunate to have my parents helping me care for them during this very difficult time, but my wish is to get back to taking care of them. My mother is researching leading hospitals who care for patients with severe organ disease and offer transplant options that other hospitals simply do not have the capacity for.  We are hoping to raise the funds to purchase private insurance, which will drain the little funds I have left. This is why I am now asking for your help. Without these funds, we are all stuck in a system that does not have the ability to fully treat me. I only hope for the chance to regain my health, and see my babies grow into wonderful people. Thank you everyone for the support, friendship and love.
