Nikolai (Ashley) Lininger

On October 11, Nikolai Lininger suffered multiple trauma injuries as the result of an attempted suicide.  After falling approximately 90 feet, he was miraculously saved from death.  He is currently in a hospital in Portland, Oregon to receive care.  All family members live in Texas and will be traveling as often as possible to be with Nik.

So far, Nik has received 3 facial reconstruction surgeries with one more scheduled in the near future.  He has also had surgeries on the right arm and wrist; right leg, ankle, and foot; pelvis; and left foot.  He had his lower jaw removed due to the severity of the facial injuries and it has been replaced with bone and tissue from his right shoulder blade.  We do not know yet the extent of his stay in the hospital, but know he will need significant therapy and rehab as well as psychiatric care.

Since Nik is in Portland and we live in Texas, we are expecting quite a bit of expense in traveling back and forth.  We would gratefully appreciate any financial support support or donations. 

We we do believe that Nik’s survival to this point is nothing short of divine miracle. We know that God is working on his healing and we are grateful for your prayers.
