Dear friends and colleagues,
Our friend Nikola Vukadinovic (Nick) had a very unfortunate incident occur while working from home due to COVID-19. In the afternoon of May 6th, Nicks building roof caught on fire which led to his whole apartment burning down. When he noticed the fire emerging from his balcony, he quickly called the fire department and rushed in panic to get out of the building. Nick has lost everything he has due to this fire. We are all just very grateful that he is okay and that no one was hurt in this unexpected circumstance. As the whole world is struggling to get through this pandemic (COVID-19), including Nick, he has also now lost the little bit of solace we all take for granted inside of our homes.
Nick works as a dispatcher located out of Serbia. Unfortunately his apartment was not insured and he is left to cover all reparations and expenses by himself.
We understand that these are trying times and this pandemic has effected everyone adversely. Any amount contributed to help Nick would be greatly appreciated.
