In the time since I began this campaign in June 2021, I have left my home state (for the first time ever!), escaping a debilitating rental market in California and unsafe housing. I’ve moved across the country to start a new life and I’m grateful for every dollar, every kind word and positive thought sent my way. 

As I adjust to a new place, I am earnestly looking for work, trying to establish medical care and gain whatever resources I can find. I am still running my business but the income has decreased drastically since the onset of Covid-19, and it can not sustain me. I am doing these things while managing my chronic illness without access to medical care. 

In the last month, I contracted covid despite following safest practices, and have been unable to work since the end of December. As someone who is already chronically ill, the recovery from covid is slow and hard. I am only seeking to revive this fundraising campaign because I have zero income as I recover.
