Hafa Adai Everyone! My name is Nikka Olalia Yaya. Currently residing in the island of Guam, USA.
Our beneficiary is APRIL ANN DEL ROSARIO from California, USA. She is our close cousin who will withdraw the funds for Nikko’s Surgery. The funds raised will transport Nikko off island to get his spinal surgery procedure started. The doctors stated that they will need to insert a rod on his back to allow him to sit up. With that, once the surgery is completed then he will need to undergo therapy and rehabitation to allow him to walk again.
On Saturday, November 17, 2018, My brother Nikko L. Olalia was involved in a motorcycle accident. He was driving his motorcycle home and lost control. Nikko is currently in the ICU at GMH in critical condition. His doctors told us that his spinal cord cracked which will affect his ability to walk and move around. Withthat, he will need to undergo a spinal surgery right away. Unfortunately, Guam does not have the appropriate equipment/tools and machines to start the procedure. The only option is to take him off-island. We will be needing to transport him to the Philippines or Hawaii to get his spinal surgery done. We spoke to his doctors and said that Manila, Philippines or Honolulu, Hawaii is the closest to get the procedure done. Our family decided to take Nikko to Honolulu, Hawaii to undergo his spinal surgery. After his surgery is completed, he will need to be admitted to a spinal rehabitation and therapy for recovery. Hawaii has the required equipments for the treatment.
If you know my brother, Nikko he is a very nice and generous man. Nikko is only 24 years old, his birthday will be on Monday, November 26, 2018 where he will turn 25 years old. Nikko has been in the Military for 6 years where he served for our country. I know my brother is a FIGHTER! We are praying that he will survive and FIGHT this battle.
We are kindly asking if you can help our family by donating some funds to help bring Nikko to the Hawaii to get his treatment done. Any kind donations will be appreciated.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
