As many of you know, and for those who don’t, Nikki had surgery on April 17 for an extensive meningioma in her brain. Although originally thought to be the best option, the surgery caused numerous problems (vision loss, dizziness, etc.) that prevented Nikki from returning to work. A lot of things were looking up, her eye sight has somewhat improved and she was close to having a corrective surgery on her eye so she could get back to “normal,” but an MRI last week provided the devastating news that Nikki’s brain tumor has grown aggressively since the surgery. Nikki will be starting intensive radiation treatments ASAP. Despite it all, Nikki is still fighting and needs all of our support.
