Nikki Needs Our Help

Hey all! So I know *I've* been asking, well pestering really, Nikki on how to help her directly. I know many people have been effected by this, but as I am a selfish person, I wanted to help the person I know directly. So if you're like-minded, and feeling like your tax return is burning a hole in your pocket, instead of spending it on something frivolous... send some of it here:

Nikki has been absent from us for about a year, getting inspired, creating, and living at ghostship. She took said year to be able to stand tall behind her creations in a community of creators and doers. To work her butt off and come out of it to say: here, this is something I am proud of.

Then, in December, her home, work space and warehouse of goods went up in flames. She had been days away from coming out with the fruits of her labor. Things we all love, items I wear and are precious to me both on and off the Playa. Beautifully, hand crafted, works of art with feather, leather, metal and lace.... well let me have her tell you in her own words

There are so many of us this could have been. So many of us that are holding down the fort of being in the bay and still trying to live on an artist's budget, there are so many of us who, at some point have felt like we've almost dug ourselves out of whatever hole we'd fallen into only to have something happen that knocks you back down to the bottom of that stupid hole.


So I'm doing this go fund me for my friend who needs a little help filling in that hole. Lets give her a direct hand in helping her rebuild, maybe a closet of clothes, a fridge of food, but most importantly, help her jump start her business with all the supplies she needs so she start creating again. B/c again, selfishly i want her to be able to make me more beautiful things. So if cash is king then lets have that pain in the ass monarch knight her. All of this will go to Nikki to spend as she sees fit. To replace clothes, kitchen items, electronics, and gear for )( .  Further, you all know what it takes to get to the burn, keep her in mind when you're cleaning out your closet, getting rid of your old playa bike, shade structure or revamping your costumes.  Lets show nikki how much we lover her and want her to rise from these ashes.

Its a helping hand from her community, one that she's had trouble asking for, and one that I'm not afraid to.
