Dear Family, Friends and to Whomever this may reach,

We would like to thank everyone for all of your prayers and support during this difficult time. Nikki appreciates everyone for the flowers, cards, care packages and all who have reached out.

But for those who don’t know, Nikki has suffered a severe blood clot in her brain called Cerebral Calvernous Malformation, causing her to go into emergency surgery. On May 25 she was seen at DMC where they performed a CT and MRI. She was immediately transferred by ambulance to Stanford University Hospital in Palo Alto where they performed a risky surgery on her brain. The Craniotomy lasted about 12 hours. Nikki is now a few days days post surgery and has had her ups and downs. She is in severe pain and is now experiencing stroke like symptoms as she is unable to see out of her right eye and some facial droop. She will possibly require another surgery for her eye but the Doctor is hopeful that rehab therapy will also help once she is stable for discharge. At this point she will be transferred to another facility in Napa for rehab. She has a long road to recovery but with God, family and friends by her side, she is in good spirits and remains hopeful.

With all this being said, she is in desperate need of some financial help. She is a hardworking, single mom of two who lives alone and is currently relying on family to help with her kids. She is unable to upkeep her rent at this time and is being forced to move out of her apartment. We are asking for any donations to help cover the cost of her outstanding bills, food for her kids, childcare and any other costs. Anything helps! But most of all please pray.
