It is with a heavy heart that I share with you the news of the unexpected passing of my dear friend, Nikki Hershey. The angels have gained yet another beautiful soul and my heart breaks for her family, as they grieve her unexpected loss. She was loved by many and touched so many of us in such a positive way; I am blessed to have known her and referred to as her close friend.
Nikki was a loving daughter, sister, mother, wife and grandmother. She loved her family ferociously. She was also a loving and caring friend, with whom she also loved with the same ferocity. I loved this about her, as well as many other things… which is why we became such great friends. Nikki was a very special person and the world will be a much lonelier place without her in it. But her journey has just begun in a new dimension and we will all meet again someday.
The money raised by this GoFundMe campaign will be used to offset Nikki’s medical and funeral expenses. There was no medical or life insurance and the family is in need of financial help to pay for these unexpected expenses. Any and all monies raised by this GoFundMe campaign will go directly to her family and it is my hope this will alleviate any burden on them as they grieve the loss of their loved one.

Nikki touched us all with her bright smile and bubbly personality and will be truly and deeply missed. Please share this link with your family and friends. Again, every little bit counts and I’ve only put the minimum amount on here, I’d like to see more be raised, as I’m sure the expense will exceed this amount.
