My name is Dylan Foss and today I have found myself in the most regrettable of rolls. On August 29, 2025 at roughly 8:30 PM Nikki passed from this life to the next. The vast space that she leaves in our lives, here in Victoria amongst her chosen family is akin to the loss of a sister. Nikki was born on October 22nd 1991 as a first generation Canadian. There are many hard stories in her life that had led to this point where we find ourselves, I think its integral to share that she chose a new life and family, and even sought to change her name, hence why I have used "Elegi". This name was what she would have picked is she were still with us today.

She was both an exceptionally bright and dark soul, her brilliance and beauty were unsurpassed in this world, and this place is less for having lost her. At this time I do not know exactly when we will be holding a celebration of life but it will be here in Victoria. I am hoping that it can be in mid October, and I intend that it be a grand goodbye for our dear friend.
