Help support Nikki Asciutto and her family

My name is Ann Marie Shantz. I am raising funds on behalf of my very dear friend Nikki Asciutto and her family.

Nikki and her 3 boys have been well known and loved in the Oxford community for many years. From the time the boys were young and they first came to Oxford, Nikki has been deeply involved in the school district and community events and activities. She was a long time OJW Team Mom, and worked as a noon aide and Early childhood education teacher at Lakeville Elementary for many years. Most recently she has been a beloved Oxford High School Lunch Lady, running the Deli sandwich line in the cafeteria every day. She is also back at Lakeville Elementary as a part time Custodian. The students in our district love seeing Ms Asciutto every day! She has been a bonus mom to many of these kids on and off the football field, on the basketball courts, in the cafeteria and in the halls. Even after being in the building and with her son being a shooting survivor in the Nov 30th tragedy, she gets herself out of bed and works 2 jobs every day out of the love she has for the kids in the Oxford community. She has the biggest, most caring heart of anyone I know.

5 weeks ago Nikki began to experience some health issues that last week turned into a medical emergency and is currently in the Neuro ICU. She has had one surgery to repair a brain aneurysm but it is still unknown if more procedures will be needed to keep her stable.

It's also unknown how long Nikki will need to be off work to recover once she is released from the hospital. Her family depends on her and not being able to work makes things difficult. This is already a tough time of year for many people and to be off of work for a large chunk of time magnifies that.

Please help us help this fellow mom and community member with the medical and living expenses to get through this recovery. No amount is too small and every cent is deeply meaningful and greatly appreciated.
