Help Niki Beat Breast Cancer

Meet Niki. If you ever have a chance to visit Grunions restaurnt in Manhattan Beach you can't miss her. Her quirky personality and infectious laughter have been a staple there for the last 20 years. Niki walks to and from work each day, rain or shine (ok, it doesn't rain much in Southern California). At the end of her shifts she can be seen scanning the local papers for the best deals at the supermarket and planning dinner for her husband Richard and crazy dog, Dexter. She's originally from Chicago where her mom, dad and brother still live.
This holiday season just became a lot less joyful for her and her family. She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer (more specific details as they come in). But here's what we do know. She'll begin Chemotherapy immediately, followed by single, and most likely double mastectomy. After the surgery will be radiation treatment and another round of Chemo and then reconstructive surgery.
All of this is something she can't find a great deal for in the local newspaper or clip a coupon for a 25% discount. As we all know, medical bills for these procedures aren't cheap and without health insurance it becomes financially overwhelming.
Your kind donation will go toward medical expenses and offsetting her loss of income during her treatment and recovery.
She would also welcome your prayers and maybe a pizza from her favorite Chicago pizzeria, Lou Malnati's.
