Niki Gillis - Medical
Hi my name is Wendy and I am trying to raise funds for my amazing friend Niki Gillis. Niki is a wife, mother, friend, and daughter. Niki has served our country in the Navy, she was a police officer, and is currently a public servant working for the State of Oregon.
18 months ago, Niki was diagnosed with Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency that has now invaded her liver. She was admitted into ICU at the Salem Hospital on January Wednesday 25th. She is in renal failure and in need of a liver transplant. At this time Niki will need to be in a hospital setting until her transplant is received. The out of pocket costs for her to have the transplant even after insurance is still very costly. Niki will not be able to work for months while she recovers from surgery. The costs for medical care and personal finances really add up in these situations. If you could please donate even the smallest amounts add up. I will post updates about Niki as new information is received.
