Niki & Mikey IVF Journey

Donation protected
In this world there are people you would do anything for. The amount of love and care you have for them is astronomical and unable to be put into words. You would give the world to them, anything to ensure they are happy, healthy, and have what they need to have the experiences they desire. You would do anything to give them that. I am writing this because I can’t give this alone and I am asking for help to give this gift to them from all of us.

My sister, Niki and her husband Mikey are two people in my life I would give the world to. Happiness, love, health, money, anything. My sister is a wonderful, giving, loving, smart, witty, hilarious, caring person with the biggest heart and so much love to give. She is a caregiver not only to her siblings, friends and husband but even in her work. She is an incredible nurse who people look up to and go to for guidance. In her personal life she is a loyal friend, an aunt to many of her friends’ kids, and a grounded, positive, wise, and loving person. Her husband Mikey is equally incredible. If you need something, he is there in seconds, he is the knower of all knowledge, the goofiest, smartest, kindest, most thoughtful man. He is a gift to my family and a perfect husband to my remarkable sister, and would be an unbelievable dad. They are truly incredible. They have so much to give.

Neither of them are the type of people to EVER ask for help. They are doers and this is why I am asking for help.

They found out about a year ago their path to becoming parents was going to take a different turn. They tried and were not able to do it alone. They started going to doctor after doctor appointments and tried multiple ways to conceive, with no success. They were sent to the final step, IVF. Their first attempt was not successful and more of a learning for the doctors. With more information now the doctor feels there is still much hope and a shot at success. Without help Niki and Mikey will not be able to have this second chance. It is here where I am asking for help.

For those of you who don’t know the pain of infertility or watched someone close who has, it is an emotional process that is painful, tiring, and devastating. If you are on the outside it feels helpless and there is a desire to do anything to give them their wish and dream of being incredible parents and having that experience. It is hard for me to put into words how unbelieve it would be to give them this. They are meant to be parents and I know they would be exceptional ones. If they could be relieved of the substantial financial burden IVF carries, this would be a stress lifted off them and also allow them to do this a second time.

PLEASE DONATE, any amount is so greatly appreciated. This is a time for those who are close to them to help and a chance for all of us to give them this opportunity in life.

Mikey and Niki have been through a tough year of constant battles and many disappointments. I know they would appreciate everyone respecting their space and privacy during this journey and promise if there is success it will be shared.

Thank you again for hearing their story, and giving them the chance to be parents.
