Nikhil Sai Sheelam

Hi, I am Akhil Sai Sheelam lives in Olathe, KS. We recently learned that my brother Nikhil Sai Sheelam who is doing his master's at the University of Central Missouri, Lee Summit, MO, has been diagnosed with osteosarcoma(Bone Cancer). The exact cause of osteosarcoma is unknown, but it is believed to be due to DNA mutations inside bone cells—either inherited or acquired after birth. Osteosarcoma treatment typically involves surgery and chemotherapy. Radiation therapy might be an option in certain situations.

Nikhil will be undergoing continuous treatment for the next 7-9 months, affecting his current master's program. This process involves endless weekly sessions, decreasing his confidence level and weakening his immune system.

As we all know, Chemotherapy is expensive, and most insurance doesn't cover the treatment costs. So, we are looking for some help to meet his hospital expenses. This would help him gain mental strength, a vital part of fighting cancer. The people around him are showing great love and care towards him.

I am so happy to see all the well-wishers around, praying that somehow we could fight and get through these difficult times and looking for motivation or support as part of this fundraising program.
