It is with an impossibly heavy heart that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing my beloved cousin Nik, who left us far too soon at only 29 years old. Nik passed away in his sleep in the early morning hours of September 27, 2025.

Nik leaves behind a beautiful family, his loving girlfriend Keyona, sons, Brayden and Nashton, loving parents, Kimmie and Darren, brother, Corey and loving grandparents, Al and Paige.

For those that knew him, being a father was something he’d been looking forward to for years. He was a lucky enough to meet a wonderful woman, Keyona and her beautiful son, Brayden. He loved Brayden and all the joys of raising a boy, teaching him to play sports, ride dirt bikes and to spend loving family time together. Then last year he was blessed to have a beautiful baby boy, Nashton. He was now a proud father of two beautiful boys. Nik loved his family and being a father was the biggest joy of his life.

In the wake of this devastating loss, his family is facing the unexpected financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses. They were not prepared for the high costs associated with giving Nik the dignified and heartfelt farewell that he deserves.

To honor Niks memory, we have set up this GoFundMe in which all proceeds will go to help cover the costs of his cremation, and other final arrangements. Any proceeds beyond the costs of the final arrangements will go towards Nash’s care. Your generous contributions will help alleviate this financial stress and allow us to focus on grieving and celebrating the wonderful person that Nik was.
