Watching big sister Enapay comforting her baby sister Niimi (pic below) makes me think about the pets in our lives, and the joy and comfort they bring us each day. They really do become a part of the family. So when an injury or illness strikes, it can be very difficult.
Our 10-month-old pup pal, Niimi, has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia and will be in need of a new hip when she turns 1. K-9 hip replacement surgery can exceed $10,000. The impact of this would be a lot to handle for anyone, so we'd like to ask your help to offset the cost.
Oneka, Niimi's mom, has been fostering dogs for years and has had nearly 30 pups in her very capable and caring hands. When Niimi came along Oneka quickly realized she belonged and welcomed into her home, Niimi's Furever Home.
