NIGHTGOWN

In the often ignored reality of child abuse, this story told by a girl shows us what we are capable of doing using our Hearts.

Nightgown, a short film created to raise awareness about the abuse and suffering so many children endure in silence.

Told through poetic imagery and metaphor, Nightgown is more than a film — it’s a call for awareness, empathy, and change. Our goal is to illuminate a dark reality while offering a glimpse of hope, a belief that a world where children are truly safe can exist.

The inspiration for this project came from a deep emotional response to the news. Story after story of violence and neglect made it impossible to stay quiet. Nightgown is dedicated to the children still living in suffering, to the survivors who are learning to heal, to the abusers who are open to confronting their actions, and even to those who have not yet found the courage to look this truth in the eye.

Joining this journey are writer and director Stephany Cataldo and co-director and director of photography Lorena Pagès, whose award-winning work brings both vision and sensitivity to the screen, and producers Lucy Gomez and Sarah Vinuesa. Alongside them, Carmen Gómez and Laura Berbel complete our direction and camera team. Together, this team is committed to making Nightgown reach as many viewers as possible.
