Nigel Davies & Family Flood damaged In Swansea

Hi, my name is Alex and I'm fundraising along with others to help Nigel Davies (A touch far Vetchfield) who's house was flooded yesterday.

As most of you would have seen on social media there was flash flooding in the Cwmbwrla area of Swansea on Sunday 15th September. Nigel and his elderly father had to be rescued from their home by emergency services, the water was waist high at this point.

Nigel is a full time carer for his Dad who has mobility issues. Nigel's father had to be removed from the home in a boat and the emergency services had to walk Nigel out in waist high water.

Their home has been flood damaged and they are now in emergency accommodation. Their house had just undergone a renovation and they are now back to square one. They do have house insurance which will help hopefully but they're facing being out of their home for the forseeble future. Despite going through all of this Nigel still took the time to check in on friends who have been struggling with their lives.

Nigel is an active fundraiser for many charities and has raised vast amounts of money for people previous so now is the time for the people of Swansea to give something back to his family.

Nigel is behind the account "A touch far Vetchfield" a Swansea Jack who does so much for others, it's time we showed him just how loved he is. In times where money is tight for all right now, anything donated would be appreciated.
