Hello, I am the aunt of a lovely woman that has had the most challenging year. I do as much as I can for her as far as making her meals and taking her to her chemotherapy treatments weekly, but am unable to help her financially. I have recently retired a little early to care for my mother who had a stroke.

Nichole is a single mother to a wonderful 8 year old daughter. She has been a self employed nanny for quite a while. Being self employed she doesn’t have access to any financial aide such as workers comp or state disability.

2024 started off challenging for Nichole, in January she broke both her ankles at the same time just stepping down a step, after surgery and rehab she was about to go back to work when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

She has gone through a mastectomy followed by a problem and infection of her port-a-cath, then started her chemotherapy, months long treatments, now halfway through her second round of weekly chemotherapy, she will be starting her radiation sometime in January.

Nichole has gone through the little savings she had saved over the years and is only getting by on child support at this point. She is in danger of loosing her apartment. She plans to look for work as soon as she physically can. She really needs a little help to get there.
