Our little preemie warrior has been in the NICU for a week. During that time both parents have been out of work and staying 90 minutes from home to be close to Jack. Jack was transferred from the Special Care Nursery to the Children’s Hospital NICU via 90 minute ambulance ride. Each day we have been hoping he can come home we are unfortunately met with news that he needs to stay longer. We were hoping to all go home together as a family, but it’s looking like Dad will have to go back to work to start generating income as the world continues on outside of our NICU bubble and our bills must be paid. We are trying to remain positive, but the longer we are away from home the more bills that accrue on top of our deductible and medical bills.
It is humbling to ask for help. It is hard to imagine separating as a family and sending Dad home alone to work far away from his wife and son with the family car. We are blessed to have the support of family and friends who have vowed to help us during this difficult time with transportation, but we are still in need of help financially.
Thank you for reading our story. Thank you for donating what you can. We are forever grateful for your generosity and support during this difficult time...
