NICU Nurse and Cop Husband dealing with Multiple Myeloma with 4 small children

As many of you know, Katie was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma this March. In August she had a stem cell transplant, which will hopefully put her in a long remission, as this cancer isn’t curable.

Vaughn has managed juggling the house, 4 young kids, and working as a police officer, while still taking care of Katie.

Katie is hoping to return to work as a NICU nurse late in November, but they’ll have to wait until the doc clears her. They’ll find out around that time if she’s reached remission.
