Memorial fund for Azura Starr

Hello friends, family, and anyone else who sees this.
February 19th was terrifying; we went rushing to St. Joseph with a fear we had miscarried due to an abundance of blood. St Joes arranged transportation the following day to the Montlake UW Medical Center while they prepared a room for me, due to higher level of treatment available for myself and Azura at UW.
Arriving in Seattle Tuesday afternoon, Azura was gestationally 21 weeks 6 days at which point, if she delivered, the hospital would not provide her support due to her gestational age. Even at 22 weeks her chances were slim. Over the course of 8 days and 6 different rooms, Azura 3 separate times convinced doctors of her impending arrival, eventually coming out exactly 23 weeks weighing 1b 1/2oz. Her birth left me with severe blood loss, 6 hours stabilization, rumors of infection, and a $31k hospital bill.
With Azura now fighting for her life in the NICU, we must choose risking the loss of our home against being here if she passes. As of now, we’ve applied for financial assistance, Medicaid, and grants with questionable success. In the time shes in the NICU we still need to pay for our mortgage for a house we wont be living in which will cost $13,000 during her stay. On top of utilities, care for our animals, food, and fuel; already a struggle we somehow now must do all this without an income, with our home and jobs being 100+ miles away. With an expected stay of around 21 weeks from now at a rate of 3-20k per day.
We would like to be able to be here for our baby girl, whatever the future holds for her. Your support can help make that happen. We are grateful for any help. Your positive prayers, energies and hopes and faith will be appreciated just as well!
