Hello,
My name is Nicolás and I am a transgender Female to Male - based in the Dominican Republic.
I have been on testosterone for a year now, and a big part of my on and off depression and anxiety comes from my chest dysphoria. Top surgery is a procedure that will remove my chest tissue in order to lessen my dysphoria and essentially transform my life, here in the Dominican Republic the mastectomy costs US$4,000, and unfortunately, we do not have medical/health insurance or an organization that helps us with these procedures.
I've been postponing the creation of this fundraiser, as it is terrifying and a bit uncomfortable to ask for this kind of help, for something that is this sensitive and personal to me, but here I am, as I realized that in order for me to be able to make this happen, I will need a little support from whoever is able to provide it.
As I write this I realize that we are going through very hard times and obviously my issue wouldn't be a priority, but I just ask for whatever little help you can provide and it will be highly appreciated.
