Dear Friends and Supporters,
We come to you with heavy hearts and a humble plea for help as we navigate a challenging journey with our beloved sons, Nico and Maddox. Just over a year ago, at the tender ages of 5 and 7, they were diagnosed with Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD), a rare and devastating genetic disorder that affects the brain and nervous system, causing a progressive decline in motor and cognitive function. Sadly, there is currently no treatment or cure for MLD, and the prognosis is heartbreakingly short. This rare condition has turned our lives upside down, leaving us grappling with fear, uncertainty, and immense financial strain.
As devoted parents, our priority is to provide the best possible care for our boys. But the reality is that caring for them requires round-the-clock attention and sacrifices that extend far beyond the emotional toll. We've had to make the difficult decision to put our careers on hold to ensure that Nico and Maddox receive the love and support they need every moment of the day.
While our focus remains on our boys' well-being, the financial burden has become overwhelming. With no income coming in, we are struggling to cover even the most basic expenses, let alone meeting the needs that Nico and Maddox require to manage their condition.
That's why we're turning to our community for support. Your generosity can provide us with the lifeline we desperately need during this challenging time. Your donation will help cover essential expenses and everyday necessities, allowing us to focus on what truly matters: the health and happiness of our boys.
Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful difference in Nico and Maddox's lives and alleviate some of the financial burdens weighing heavily on our shoulders. Together, we can ensure that our boys receive the care and support they need to live their lives to the fullest extent possible.
From the depths of our hearts, we thank you for your kindness, compassion, and unwavering support during this difficult journey.
With gratitude and love,
Sarah, Bobby, Nico, & Maddox
The Saghini Family
