NICOLLIER - Sounding Rocket Student Project

We are NICOLLIER, a Switzerland based student team with 43 members from various countries and all sorts of study backgrounds, united in our passion for rocketry.
We have set ourselves the goal to design, manufacture, test and ultimately fly a sounding rocket at the European Rocketry Challenge. The systems in our rocket are:
- In-house built guided recovery system
- Self designed and assembled computer stack
- Carbon fibre fairings
- Air brakes
- Retractable launch lugs
- COTS Solid Motor
For our project we need YOUR support. To build our student rocket we face high costs. This is why we especially need cash money which is hard to obtain through classical sponsoring. To give you an estimate of what your support achieves:
- 5 CHF buys masks, crucial for protecting during manufacturing
- 30 CHF buys us Dyneema, critical for guided recovery
- 100 CHF buys a flight computer, heart of our computer system
- 400 CHF buys us bulkheads, the main assembly point for all subsystems
- 1700 CHF fully finances our motor
